Terms of Service

1. Our Service

TutorTree provides small-group online tutoring services for Year 7–12 students in Sydney, Australia, with a focus on HSC Maths and Science. Sessions are conducted online via video conferencing. By booking a session or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms.

2. Bookings

Bookings are confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from TutorTree. Session times are subject to tutor availability. We reserve the right to reschedule a session with at least 24 hours notice if required due to unforeseen circumstances, and will offer an equivalent replacement session.

3. Cancellation Policy

We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a booked session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may result in forfeiture of the session fee. We understand that emergencies happen — please contact us at admin@tutortree.com.au as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your situation.

4. Payment

Payment is due before or at the time of each session unless a package arrangement has been agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking.

Refunds: If TutorTree cancels a session and cannot offer a suitable replacement, a full refund for that session will be issued. Refunds for pre-purchased session packages are available on a pro-rata basis for unused sessions, provided at least 7 days written notice is given. Refund requests should be directed to admin@tutortree.com.au.

5. Student Conduct

Students are expected to attend sessions prepared and treat tutors and other students respectfully. TutorTree reserves the right to remove a student from a group session or discontinue services if conduct is disruptive or disrespectful.

6. Limitation of Liability

TutorTree provides tutoring services in good faith and makes no guarantee of specific academic outcomes, including but not limited to HSC marks or ATAR results. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, TutorTree's liability for any claim arising from the use of our services is limited to the amount paid for the session(s) in question. TutorTree is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by TutorTree during sessions (worksheets, notes, resources) remain the intellectual property of TutorTree and are provided for the personal use of enrolled students only. They may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
